Honey Mustard Pork Chops

This is an easy way to jazz up the humble pork chop. The original recipe was a Weight Watchers Recipe that I have adapted to save time (the original recipe called for a 4 hour marinade). Depending on the thickness of your pork chops, this recipe goes straight from the frying pan to the table in about 15 minutes!

Honey Mustard Pork Chops
Serves 2

Use the assembled sauce to baste the pork chops as they cook and infuse flavour.  You can also dress the chops in extra sauce when you serve them.  This recipe serves 2 but can be scaled for any amount.

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes or until cooked through
Total Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients
1/4 cup dijon mustard (grainy or smooth, your choice)
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp white, cider or white wine vinegar
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 loin chops (bone in or boneless)
oil

Directions
  1. Combine, mustard, honey, vinegar and pepper
  2. Coat each chop in the mustard sauce.
  3. Place the chops in a non stick frying pan with a tsp of oil.
  4. Cook about 4-5 minutes each side or until you achieve the desired doneness basting each side with more sauce when you flip.
  5. Serve by drizzling any remaining sauce over the chops!
